A large Canadian university with alumni living across Canada wanted to deepen alumni engagement. Prior quantitative research revealed that its Net Promoter Score among alumni was well below the university’s peer set. Our client wanted to understand how it could strengthen its relationship with alumni.
The Strategic Counsel deployed a series of online focus group with younger and older alumni across Canada. Based on what we learned, we developed a roadmap to drive intensification of alumni engagement.
The research triggered the development of a strategic plan to dramatically increase alumni engagement. After achieving overwhelming success with the first phase, the university just launched the second phase of its alumni engagement program helping to raise engagement even further.
