Sébastien has many years of experience working with a wide array
of quantitative and qualitative research methods and has taught numerous
university-level courses on such methods. A distinguished academic, he
also published articles in both English and French on various topics such
as the International Monetary Fund's role in international development
policies and discourses, as well as on Canadian public opinion on foreign
aid.
Many of his friends and colleagues affectionately call Sébastien
the "statsman" because of his knowledge of a whole array of
quantitative methods, including OLS and logistic regression models, factor
analysis, cluster analysis and structural equation modeling. While his
expertise in research methods make Sébastien an invaluable resource
in designing and analyzing research projects, his wide ranging knowledge
of public affairs allows him to offer key insights into communications
strategies and provide additional depth in reporting findings.
When not working, Sébastien enjoys playing any sport on offer,
or can be found reading a book, preferably about marine life.
