For over 20 years, Nancy Gottlieb has been responsible
for overseeing each and every component of survey research. She was one
of the first employees at Decima Research when it began in 1979, and her
in-depth knowledge of all aspects of survey research has made her a greatly
valued colleague at The Strategic Counsel. She is involved in both
the front and back ends of the survey process, including the review, preparation
and programming of questionnaires on CATI (computer-assisted telephone
interviewing), as well as preparing and running the results.
Her organizational skills, coupled with her experience, led one manager
at The Strategic Counsel to describe her as the company's "Rock
of Gibraltar": her work is solid, professional and of the highest
quality, ensuring the total integrity of every operation from start to
finish.
Other than co-ordinating research, Nancy gets her greatest pleasure from
her family cottage at Georgian Bay, where she has spent summer weekends
for over 30 years. But despite her affection for the place, she insists
the company rumors that she call-forwards her work to the cottage are
completely unfounded.
