Ellen's role at The Strategic Counsel encompasses all aspects of
research project design, management, analysis and reporting, with a particular
strength in mining research data for key insights. With respect to qualitative
research, Ellen's strength is in encouraging respondents to provide value-added
insights that go beyond the discussion guide. Ellen also has extensive
experience conducting quantitative research, including: program assessments,
usage and attitudinal studies and new product development studies. In
addition, she has conducted many online research projects. Her work has
provided her with experience in various sectors, including communications,
technology, public affairs and finance.
Prior to joining The Strategic Counsel in January 2003, Ellen managed
and executed qualitative and quantitative projects at a small research
and consulting company, where she developed expertise in business-to-business
research, as well as an understanding of the entrepreneurial mindset.
In her spare time, Ellen indulges in creative writing. She's also a novice
at yoga, and enjoys attempting to master the complex positions set forth
by her instructor.
