Prior to joining The Strategic Counsel Derek worked as a bilingual
project manager for online studies. He holds an MA in political science
from the University of Toronto where he developed a strong interest in
quantitative research methods as well as public opinion and public policy.
Derek also possesses impeccable language skills. Following the completion
of a degree in English studies he moved to France to spend time perfecting
his French before moving to Montreal to further his studies.
In his spare time Derek enjoys playing ice hockey where he tends the
net. He is also a camping and canoeing enthusiast and enjoys spending
as much time possible out-of-doors.
