A Canadian Retailer faced an increasingly disgruntled workforce in its main distribution center

Challenge:  Our client was facing growing unhappiness among its employees working at its main distribution center and needed to understand the causes of this employee unhappiness before taking remedial action to help ameliorate the situation.

Solution:   The Strategic Counsel conducted coffee-break conversations’ with employees at the distribution center and conducted a company-wide survey among employees.  These conversations need to be conducted throughout the day and over night to ensure that all distribution center employees were covered.

Results:   The client undertook a series of actions to address employee unhappiness based on the learning from the survey and coffee-like conversations.
